MAPPING OF CHEMICALS MANUFACTURERS FOR DECISION-MAKING MAINTEINANCE FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROTECTING POPULATION FROM NEGATIVE EXPOSURE OF DANGEROUS CHEMICALS

Abstract – The article analyzes international geographic information systems related to the manufacturing chemicals and identifies the best practices of mapping information. A method is proposed for supporting regulatory decisions based on these maps involving the distribution of chemical complex enterprises of Russia. The functionality of the maps was expanded by adding information on both the national classification of chemicals and the GHS classification concept. The principles of data search optimization, as well as their updating, were developed. In addition, possible versions of reports which can be formed using these maps were suggested.
