Abstract – Methods and devices for studying the behavior of chemical pollutants in the environment have been developed. The methods make it possible to avoid re-contamination of natural environments and can be used for investigating technogenic impact of highly toxic and radioactive substances on the environment. The results of the research can be applied for recommendations on organizing environmental monitoring of industrial facilities as well as developing rehabilitation methods for polluted territories.

Keywords: pollutants, behavior patterns, research methods and devices.
